Curetex original Washi Paper Yarn has obtained the Certificate of [OEKO-TEX® Standard 100].

Curetex Corporation has obtained the [Certification of OEKO-TEX® Standard 100], an international safety standard for textile products.

The product that obtained the [Certification of OEKO-TEX® Standard 100] is the Washi yarn that originally developed by Curetex, the ‹CURETEX YARN›. This certified product class is “Class-I” which is the most strictest regulation value, it is compatible with textiles for infants that require high safety level. The number of certification is “N-KEN 1840”.

[OEKO-TEX® Standard 100] is an important indicator for trading and consumption as a proof of the world’s highest level of safe textile products that has passed strict analysis tests for over 300 harmful chemical substances.

The OEKO-TEX International Community is headquartered in Zurich, Switzerland, and has a total of 18 inspection and research institutes in 17 in Europe and 1 in Japan.

‹Curetex Yarn› is a Washi paper yarn developed exclusively by Curetex, and made of soft textured yarn that does not seem like paper by a unique manufacturing method in which Japanese paper made from perennial plants that do not lead to deforestation is used as a raw material, while sticking to manual labor by craftsmen while suppressing the use of chemicals.
